🔍 Job Overview – Field Operator
As a Field Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the plant equipment. You will monitor, inspect, and control various mechanical and process systems, including turbine operations, steam generation, desalination processes, and water treatment protocols.
Your core responsibility will be to ensure the plant runs smoothly, efficiently, and within all safety and regulatory requirements.
✅ Key Responsibilities:
- Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot Siemens Gas Turbines, HRSGs, and Steam Turbines
- Ensure proper functioning of MSF desalination units and Water Treatment systems
- Conduct routine inspections and reporting on equipment performance
- Log operational parameters and ensure real-time monitoring
- Maintain communication with the control room for coordination of operations
- Detect abnormalities and take prompt corrective action
- Ensure compliance with HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) protocols
- Support start-up, shutdown, and maintenance activities
- Collaborate with maintenance and technical teams during fault resolution
- Provide feedback for operational improvement and efficiency enhancement
🎓 Educational & Professional Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Process Engineering
- 5–7 years of hands-on experience in Power and Water Plant operations
- Proven experience working with:
- Siemens Gas Turbines
- HRSG – Heat Recovery Steam Generators
- Siemens Steam Turbines
- MSF Desalination Systems
- WTP – Water Treatment Plants
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to work under high-pressure situations with confidence
- Good communication and coordination skills
- GCC or overseas plant operation experience is preferred
