Job Responsibilities
1. Mechanical Design Engineer
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Designing and analyzing mechanical systems for oil and gas refineries.
- Developing 2D/3D models using CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.).
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards (ASME, API, ANSI).
- Collaborating with project managers and other engineers to optimize designs.
- Conducting feasibility studies and risk assessments.
2. Civil Construction Design Engineer
As a Civil Construction Design Engineer, your role will include:
- Designing and overseeing civil and structural aspects of refinery projects.
- Preparing construction drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
- Ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Supervising on-site construction activities.
- Coordinating with contractors and stakeholders.
3. Electrical Construction Design Engineer
As an Electrical Construction Design Engineer, you will:
- Design electrical systems for power distribution, instrumentation, and control.
- Develop single-line diagrams, cable routing, and substation layouts.
- Ensure compliance with IEC, NEC, and other international standards.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and optimize energy efficiency.
- Work closely with automation and instrumentation teams.
Academic & Experience Requirements
To be considered for these roles, candidates must have:
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering.
- Additional certifications (PMP, PE, PMI, etc.) will be an advantage.
Work Experience:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in oil and gas refineries.
- Strong knowledge of design software (AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP, STAAD Pro, etc.).
- Familiarity with international engineering standards.
