Job Details

Position: Senior Contracts Specialist

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

Contract Duration: 1 Year (Renewable)

Start Date: September 2025

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Contracts Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing end-to-end contract lifecycle for upstream oil & gas projects.
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating high-value contracts with suppliers, vendors, and service providers.
  • Ensuring compliance with ADNOC tender requirements and other regulatory standards.
  • Risk assessment and mitigation in contract terms and conditions.
  • Collaborating with legal, procurement, and project teams to ensure smooth contract execution.
  • Monitoring contract performance, amendments, and dispute resolution.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, contractors, and government entities.

Qualifications & Experience Required

Mandatory Requirements:

✔ Minimum 8 years of total experience in contracts management, with at least 5 years in the oil & gas upstream sector.
✔ UAE experience is mandatory, specifically within Abu Dhabi’s oil & gas industry.
✔ Strong knowledge of upstream operations (exploration, drilling, production) and supply chain practices.
✔ Experience in managing high-value, complex contracts (EPC, FEED, drilling, maintenance, etc.).
✔ Familiarity with ADNOC’s tender process and contractual frameworks.

Preferred Skills:

  • Proficiency in contract management software (SAP, Ariba, or similar).
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and legal interpretation skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
