✅ Job Requirements:

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Educational Background:
- Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Higher qualifications such as a B.E. or B.Tech are an added advantage.
Professional Experience:
- 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas projects is mandatory.
- Experience working on-site in industrial zones like Ras Laffan or Messaid is preferred.
Certifications & Approvals:
- Qatar Energy (formerly QP) approval is mandatory.
- Knowledge of Qatar Energy HSE and work permit systems is a plus.
Skills Required:
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and P&IDs.
- Hands-on experience in the installation, maintenance, and commissioning of mechanical equipment such as pumps, valves, piping, heat exchangers, etc.
- Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
- Familiarity with Permit to Work (PTW) systems and job safety analysis (JSA).

🧭 Role Overview:

As a Mechanical Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing and supervising mechanical activities on-site to ensure smooth and timely execution of the project. Your role is vital in maintaining high safety and quality standards, particularly in alignment with Qatar Energy procedures and compliance.

🔍 Key Responsibilities:

Supervise mechanical works including piping, valve installation, and rotating/static equipment handling.
Lead the mechanical team and coordinate daily tasks with engineers and technicians.
Ensure that all mechanical installation work meets Qatar Energy standards and safety requirements.
Review technical drawings and ensure accurate implementation on-site.
Oversee equipment testing and commissioning support.
Conduct safety tool box talks and enforce work permit systems.
Coordinate with project planners, QA/QC, and safety departments to ensure timely project milestones.
Generate daily/weekly reports and communicate updates to project management.
